No Show & Late Policy

We understand life happens, but we also want to try to respect the time of our staff and other patients. When you make an appointment for your child or children to be seen, that time is set aside just for you and your family. When an appointment is missed or canceled on short notice, that time cannot be used to treat another patient in need of care. We sincerely appreciate your assistance and cooperation.

Avery Mae Pediatrics Late Cancellation and No-Show Policy:

We require a minimum 24-hour notice in the event that you need to cancel or reschedule a non-same day appointment and a minimum of a 2-hour notice for all same day appointments.

Failure to give proper notice will result in your family being marked with a “no-show” which is subject to a $50.00 fee. As a courtesy we waive a family's first instance in which they are cited for a no-show, all subsequent no-show or late cancellations will result in a $50.00 fee being applied to the family's account. That fee will have to be paid prior to us being able to schedule any future appointments for that family.

Families with three or more no-shows or late cancellations may be denied care going forward.

Avery Mae pediatrics Late Arrival Policy is as Follows:

If a patient is more than 15 minutes late to their appointment, the appointment is marked as a no-show and will have to be rescheduled.
